Geoffrey of Monmouth not all fiction

The reason for this list is because (1) I don’t like how certain Arthurians wholly trash the HRB/DGB of Geoffrey of Monmouth as all just unreliable “fiction”, and (2) I am very mad at how certain Arthurians keep falsely making themselves out to be all-right gods and us to be all wrong dogs, and they keep only highlighting what few things we are supposedly wrong about and refuse to acknowledge/credit any things we are right about.
So this list is an attempt to show how many things in the HRB came from previous Welsh/Arthurian sources like the DEB of Gildas and the HB of Nennius/Mark rather than the HRB just all being made up fiction or being “political propaganda” or being based on Norman/Plantagent times as certain Arthurians assert. All the persons etc of the HRB in the list below are seen to appear/occur in pre-HRB sources.
So I contend that they can not so readily dismiss all the HRB. Though I do not deny that the HRB is not all true history. Certainly Geoffrey of Monmouth developed on from the HB (as the HB did from the DEB) and embellished and used license and imagination and duplications and eponyms etc. But neither is the HRB all fiction or unreliable. Pretty much all the AD major persons etc from Lucius to Cadawaldr are confirmed to be in earlier sources, though the minor persons are more uncertain (especially in the Arthur part). Most of the BC kings from Brutus to Lud are certainly much less historically verifiable though.
The way this list is done is simply listing the person or place or event and then listing the sources they are found in.
